TOMORROW is your chance to change the way services in Pembrokeshire are run - don’t miss out on using your vote.

Only by casting a vote in the local election on May 4 is there any chance that things will be different in Pembrokeshire so now is the chance to have your say.

The council’s budget of more than £300m being spent on education, social care, housing and many, many more services, means it has major impact on the lives of every person living in our county.

Before casting your vote there are some things you may want to consider, including what your candidates’ previous involvement with council was.

Many candidates are standing for re-election and if you are not happy with how things are done at County Hall voting should you be voting for the same person again?

Polling stations will be open 7am to 10pm and are located at various points in towns and villages across the county. You should have received a polling card if you registered to vote but you do not need to take this to your local station.

Postal votes have already been sent out and many will have been returned to be counted.

In a local election the counting of votes takes place the next day and the Western Telegraph will be live at Sir Thomas Picton on Friday (May 5), as the results come in.

Results will be update the website, Facebook and Twitter as they are announced by Returning Officer Ian Westley throughout the day.
