AN ACTRESS from Milford Haven has been recognised for her contribution to local performance.
At its annual award ceremony in Hereford, the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) gave an award for best individual performance to Terri Harrison of Milford Haven Amateur Operatic Society (MHAOS).
The award was for her role as Babe Williams in the Society’s 2016 production of The Pajama Game.
Terri has been with the Society since 2004 and has played several leading roles such as Dolly in Hello Dolly, and Widow Corney in Oliver.
MHAOS was also nominated for best scenery and stage management for The Pajama Game.
The society is also celebrating the award of a British Empire Medal to MHAOS' musical director Marian Harris in this years Queen's Birthday Honours List.
Marian who received the honour for her services to music and amateur community theatre in Pembrokeshire, has been musical director since 1983.
Both are now looking to rehearsals for Annie Get Your Gun at the Pill Social Centre and will be performed at the Torch Theatre in March 2018
