TWIN sisters from Johnston have appeared together on screen in an advert for Virgin Holidays.

The Virgin Holidays Experiences advert features identical twins Sophie and Nikki Murray, both 24, from Johnston, as they spend 7 nights in the USA, visiting the same destinations by have wildly different experiences.

The twins chose each other’s adventures for the holiday, pushing them both outside of their comfort zones.

While Sophie spent her time in New York with a helicopter flight around the city and a jazz tour around Harlem, Nikki rode a horse around central park, and went shopping with a personal stylist.

In Los Angeles, Sophie had surf lessons and hiked the Hollywood hills, while Nikki cycled Venice Beach, and drove sports cars.

In their final destination, Las Vegas, Sophie got behind the wheel of a giant JCB, and Nikki took on the Las Vegas zip line.

The sisters both studied at Tasker Millward School before taking courses in acting at the University of Northampton at different times.

Though the sisters now both work as actors, Sophie signed herself and her sister up for the Virgin advert because the company had asked for twins who had different interests to take part in new experiences.

“It was amazing. It was probably the best week of both our lives, and was a holiday you would never got to on otherwise,” she said.

“It’s been a good chance for them to work together and get a little bit further,” said their dad, Glenn Murray, who added he was proud of what they had done.
