TWO men cut off by the tide were rescued near Dale Fort on Sunday (April 15).
The men were attempting to row out to a mooring when their vessel capsized.
Unable to re-board it, they made their way ashore, where they were met by Dale Coastguard and Angle RNLI crew.
The casualties were suffering from hypothermia, so one at a time they were transferred in the Y Boat to the nearby slipway, where an ambulance and paramedics were waiting.
Their vessels were recovered from the shoreline and taken to the slipway, where they were secured.
With no more assistance needed, the Y Boat was recovered and the lifeboat was released to return to her station, where she was rehoused at 1.44pm.
