TWO children were rescued from Haverfordwest castle this weekend, after they became stuck on a ledge while climbing.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue service were called to the castle at 6.40pm on Sunday, May 6.
A crew from Haverfordwest fire station rescued two girls using ladders, and they were brought down "safe and well" by 7pm.
Jennie Griffiths, head of joint fire control for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue and South Wales Fire and Rescue tweeted about the incident as it happened.
"Crews are on their way to rescue two children who climbed 2 storeys of Haverfordwest West Castle and are now stuck. Stay safe little ones we’re on the way....bet the view is wonderful though," she said.
