MORE than 70 motorbikes revved up the atmosphere at Haverfordwest’s Haverhub recently, when the community hub was the venue for a success Pembrokeshire Vintage and Classic Show.
The event was co-ordinated by the Pembrokeshire Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Club’s treasurer, Glyn Garland, and the group was extremely pleased with the response.
Spectators turned out in force to view the bikes and HaverHub’s Gitti Coats said: “We were delighted with the turnout on such a wonderful sunny day. We are grateful to the PVCMC for their support.”
Winners at the show were: furthest travelled - BSA; best classic - Triumph Thunderbird combination; best military - BSA; best vintage - Sunbeam; best two-stroke - Suzuki; best in show - Scott.
The PVCMC now has 160 members, including a number of young motorcycle enthusiasts.
The club enjoys a breakfast meet every week, with its next big event being the Saundersfoot Motorcycle Time Trial on June 9.

Said club chair Huw Adams: “We’ve even got our own beer for the trial from Caffle Brewery in Llawhaden.
“Chris Bannister from Caffle is one of our members, and we are very lucky that he has organised our own label for the event.”
