REPORTED crime in Milford Haven rose from 136 incidents to 156 between February and March this year.
According to figures released by Dyfed-Powys Police, the main rises were in violent and sexual offences, which climbed from 33 reports to 50, and burglaries, which soared from two reports to 12.
Meanwhile, drops were recorded in anti-social behaviour, drug-related incidents, and public order offences.
Four reports of shoplifting, three of anti-social behaviour, and one public order offence were recorded at or near Milford Haven Tesco.
In the Milford Haven rural area, which covers Neyland, Johnston and Llangwm, 51 incidents were reported in March, up from 41 in February.
Of the March total, 34 incidents took place in Neyland.
This figure included 13 reports of anti-social behaviour, and 21 of violence and sexual offences.
