Milford NPT

AS PART of Mental Health Awareness Week, Milford Haven Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) PCSOs Laura Galdo-Morgan, Leanne Nicholls and Daria Osmolak have been busy visiting community groups, day centres and care homes in the area.

They met with residents and visitors, as well as promoting the Herbert Protocol - which encourages carers to compile useful information which could be used in the event of a vulnerable person going missing.

PCSOs Nicholls and Osmolak also attended Milford Haven Tesco store accompanied by The VC Gallery to promote Mental Health Awareness Week.

Elsewhere, PC Jon Hope and PCSO Stacy Thomas attended an assembly at Meads Infant School, to explainin what officers do in the community.

This week's Street of The Week was Hilton Avenue, where members of the NPT delivered crime prevention advice and leaflets to residents.

On Sunday, May 20, PCSOs also supported a ride out event in Neyland, promoting the Pass Wide and Slow campaign, which aims to encourage drivers to leave sufficient distance between them and horses and their riders.

On Friday, May 25, Sgt Terri Harrison, PC Neil Lees and PCSO Paul Mayhew will meet with businesses, partner agencies and other local to discuss a problem solving report, which the NPT has drafted in relation to anti-social behaviour concerns in the Haven’s Head area of Milford Haven.

Throughout the week Milford Haven NPT officers will be busy out and about offering advice on all manner of community and safety matters.

As the Bank Holiday weekend approached, police will also be carrying out increased patrols in rural areas, and residents who spot anything suspicious, including unauthorised raves or gatherings, is asked to contact them.
