BLUE Anchor Way in Dale was the focus of Milford Haven Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT)'s Street of the Week campaign last week.

PCSOs Nichols and Osmolak delivered information and crime prevention packs to everyone in the street, and were joined by the mobile police station.

Last Sunday PCSO Osmolak and PCSO Devonald visited the Shah Jalal Jamiah Mosque in Milford Haven,meeting with members and sitting in on a very informative and enjoyable lesson.

On Friday PC Lees, Inspector Davies and Chief Inspector McSweeney facilitated a meeting between police, retailers, youth service, Milford Haven Comprehensive School and Milford Haven Port Authority addressing the anti-social behaviour issues experienced around Haven Head, Cedar Court and the Marina.

All agreed the meeting was highly successful, with ongoing joint working being put into place to combat these issues to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our communities to enjoy

Yesterday, volunteers from the Community Speed Watch were once again out and about monitoring local roads.

In the last year, 479 speed violations have been recorded by local volunteers.

These include top speeds of 59mph.

The areas covered by the team include Waterston, The Promenade in Neyland, Coombes Road in Milford Haven, Dale Road in Hubberston, Langford Road in Johnston, and Tiers Cross, Trinity Terrace, Burton.

The team were this year nominated for the Chief Constables Team of the year Award.

Today (Thursday) PCSO Brown will attend the Tesco coffee morning at Hubberston Community Centre.

Over the week PCSO Nicholls and PCSO Osmolak will be carrying out patrols in rural areas monitoring spontaneous events leading up to and over the weekend.
