A fisherman stranded on rocks at Tenby was escorted to safety on Sunday evening.
The 42-year-old man called the emergency services shortly before half past eight. He had been fishing on rocks underneath the footpath to the lifeboat station. He dialled 999 as he was worried about scrambling up the slippery rocks in the dark.
Pembrokeshire coastguard sector manager and Tenby's inshore lifeboat were tasked to locate the casualty.
A lifeboat crew member walked the holidaymaker, from Bristol, to safety before coastguards took his details.
