Police are investigating a report of an assault on a teenage girl on Bush Street in Pembroke Dock last night (Tuesday) and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Guiney said, “At approximately 7.30pm on Tuesday evening 2nd September, a thirteen year old female was assaulted whilst she walked along Bush Street, Pembroke Dock. At the time of the assault, the victim was wearing a light green top and black leggings.
“Her assailant got out of a small white van (possibly a car-derived van) and attempted to assault her, he failed and she walked away.
“He is described as an Asian or Pakistani male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, aged 25 – 35 years, of slight build with short black hair and stubble. He was wearing a short sleeved black top and black jeans. Another man, the driver of the suspect vehicle, is described as an Asian male with short dark hair.
“Officers are carrying out house to house investigations in the area and we are asking for people who may have been driving past at the time of the incident to call us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
“Incidents of this type are rare in our Force area, and I would like to reassure residents that there have been no other incidents of a similar nature”.
