A PENSIONER pleaded not guilty to a range of historical indecent assaults and child neglect charges when he appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Wednesday (September 10).
John Caffrey, 71, of Castle View, Simpson Cross is charged with seven counts of indecently assaulting a girl aged under 16 between 1978 and 1984, and five counts of assaulting, ill-treating or neglecting a girl between 1981 and 1984.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case.
Caffrey was released on unconditional bail to appear before Swansea Crown Court on September 19.
