A Petrochemical company in Scotland is to hold a recruitment event in Milford Haven next week aimed at staff hit by the impending closure of the Murco Refinery.

The sale of the Murco Refinery to the Klesch Group collapsed earlier this month, with the loss of around 350 Murco jobs and several hundred contractor posts.

Petrochemical company Ineos, which runs the Grangemouth site in Scotland, will hold a recruitment drive on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 November at the Lord Nelson Hotel.

The event is advertised in this week’s Western Telegraph and Milford Mercury newspapers.

It says Ineos is looking for “ambitious, experienced professionals who aren’t afraid of new challenges.”

The advert says it is looking for engineering managers, process and control engineers, mechanical engineers, senior planners, supervisors, engineering training advisors, project managers, inspection managers, I/E engineers, technicians and CCB technician and trainers.

The events take place in the Hamilton room, Lord Nelson Hotel, Hamilton Terrace, Milford Haven, between 2pm and 8pm on Wednesday November 26 and 9am to 1pm on the following day.

Members of the Ineos team will be available to discuss the company and opportunities available.
