A Milford Haven woman has today (Tuesday) admitted setting fire to her own flat.
Natasha Bradbury, aged 27, is being held on remand at Eastwood Park women’s prison near Bristol and today appeared via video link with Swansea crown court.
She admitted arson at Chestnut Way, Mount Estate—her home address—on January 17 this year being reckless as to whether life would be endangered or property damaged.
The court heard the property belonged to the local housing authority.
A previous court hearing had been told that Bradbury's birthday celebrations turned sour when curtains near the flat's front door were set alight.
The fire was extinguished before the fire service arrived.
Judge Keith Thomas agreed that Bradbury should be examined by a psychiatrist before a probation officer prepared a report into her background.
She will be sentenced on February 27 and was further remanded in custody meanwhile Judge Thomas warned Bradbury a prison sentence could follow irrespective of what was said in the reports.
