The Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Commissioner Christopher Salmon is inviting the public to talk to him about the issues that concern them at a series of events starting today (Wednesday).

One of 12 Your Voice days is taking place in Saundersfoot, Pembroke Dock and Neyland . This will see the commissioner meet individuals and small groups privately with 20-minute appointments.

Mr Salmon wants to hear thoughts, observations and ideas on local crime and policing. The opinions will help him deliver the public’s thoughts to the heart of the police and other key agencies.

He said: “By speaking to me, the public have a direct say in our criminal justice system.

“Local people understand local issues better than anybody and I want to know how their thoughts are evolving.”

Activity on Your Voice days will include visits to schools, community groups, organisations and police personnel.

The schedule includes South Pembrokeshire the Lampeter and Newcastle Emlyn area of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion (February 27).

Mr Salmon plans to visit St Davids and Fishguard on April 2, Aberystwyth on May 1, Carmarthen and St Clears on May 21.

Other Your Voice days will include Milford Haven and Haverfordwest.
