Ysgol Wdig pupils received a book containing their own poignant and imaginative artwork last week, in recognition of their contribution to the town's First World War remembrance events.
Pupils from Ysgol Wdig and Ysgol Glannau Gwaun participated in a competition ran by Fishguard and Goodwick Town Council to create winning artwork in remembrance of the First World War.
"The artwork produced was very moving and creative," said town clerk Sarah McColl-Dorion. "The artist Rozanne Hawksley judged the work and was very impressed with the standard of work the children provided."
As a thank you, the town council compiled a book of the work to present to the students at both schools involved.
A copy of it will also be held at Fishguard Library. Copies of the book will also be on sale soon, with all profits going to the Royal British Legion.
