A woman accused of setting fire to Haverfordwest’s Premier Inn will appear at Swansea crown court today (Friday).

Georgina Tranter, 26, of Redstone Court, Narberth is charged with arson with intent to endanger life and committing arson recklessly.

133 people were evacuated following the fire at the hotel in January.

Tranter, a chemistry graduate who works as a refinery lab technician, was originally due to appear at the court last Friday. However the hearing was deferred until today.

She previously pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, failing to provide a sample when requested by police and driving without appropriate insurance at a previous hearing at Haverfordwest magistrates court.

Tranter, is due to appear in court two this afternoon for a plea and case management hearing.
