ANYONE passing Pembrokeshire Housing's new development at Imble Lane, Pembroke Dock, will be able to see the handiwork of a local school girl.

A poster designed by nine-year-old Sadie Hall, a pupil at St Mary's Roman Catholic School, in Pembroke Dock, will be displayed outside the development, after she won a competition hosted by south Wales firm Morganstone.

Morganstone has been building the new Imble Lane development, and as part of its work to get to know the community recently made a site safety presentation to St Mary’s RC School.

The firm also ran a competition for the pupils to design a site safety poster, with the winner receiving a prize and having their poster enlarged and printed on boards outside the site.

Morganstone also pledged £100 for the school, and Pembrokeshire Housing matched this by donating books to the school.

Presenting Sadie with her prize were Paul Drummond, Operations Manager, Morganstone along with Ben Aubrey, Site Manager of Morganstone, Gary Meskimmon, Inspector of Works at Pembrokeshire Housing and Mrs Julie Frazer, Head Teacher at St Mary’s.
