The A477 between Redberth and Kilgetty has reopened following an earlier crash, Dyfed-Powys Police have said.
It is understood a car and a motorcycle have been involved.
A fire crew from Tenby was sent to the scene.
The emergency call was received at 2.33pm.
The Western Telegraph traffic report stated: "A477 both ways blocked, queueing traffic due to multi-vehicle accident between B4586 (Broadmoor Traffic Lights) and B4318 (Sageston Roundabout). The collison is located at the junction for East Williamson. Affecting motorists travelling between Kilgetty and Pembroke Dock."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called shortly before 2.30pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the A477 near East Williamson.
"We sent a paramedic in a rapid response car and two emergency ambulances to the scene, and a man was taken to Withybush Hospital."
