Pembrokeshire remains all blue this morning after Paul Davies and Angela Burns both recorded comfortable Assembly election wins.
The result in Preseli Pembrokeshire was:
Conservatives (Paul Davies) 11,123
Labour (Dan Lodge) 7,193
Plaid (John Osmond) 3,957
UKIP (Howard Lillyman) 3,286
Lib Dems (Bob Kilmister) 1,677
Greens (Frances Bryant) 1,161
Securing an increased majority of 3,930 votes – compared to 2,175 in 2011 - Mr Davies has been re-elected for the third time.
Mr Davies, said: “Having represented the people of Preseli Pembrokeshire since 2007, it’s a great honour to continue to be a strong voice and fight the issues of my local community.
“Across the constituency, people have been telling me they’ve had enough of inadequate healthcare, of local health services closing and of small businesses going unsupported.
“Enough is enough. The people of Preseli Pembrokeshire deserve so much better.
"I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that my constituents get a fairer deal and am grateful to each and every person who voted for me. Diolch yn fawr iawn – thank you.”
The result in Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire was:
Conservatives (Angela Burns) 10,355
Labour (Marc Tierney) 6,982
UKIP (Allan Brookes) 3,300
Plaid Cymru (Simon Thomas) 5,459
Lib Dems (Alistair Cameron) 699
Green Party (Val Bradley) 804
Independent Save Withybush Save Lives (Chris Overton)1,638.
Mrs Burns more than doubled her majority with 3,373 compared to 1,504 in 2011.
Mrs Burns has represented the constituency since 2007. She said: “I am delighted to have been returned once again to serve the people of Carmarthen West & South Pembrokeshire.
“In me, the people of Carmarthen West & South Pembrokeshire will continue to have a tireless champion of local issues and I can assure them that I will continue to back their corner in the National Assembly for Wales.
“I look forward to getting back to the hard work I have been elected to carry out.”

Labour 29 seats (-1)
Plaid Cymru 12 (+1)
Conservative 11 (-3)
UKIP 7 (+7)
