A bankrupt man is facing three counts of committing fraud by false representation at Swansea crown court today (Friday).
James Bufton, 50, of Marlston, Rhyd Clydach, Blaenau Gwent, is alleged to have made applications in a false name for credit accounts at Kilgetty-based businesses Wynnstay Group PLC, Massey Bros Feeds Ltd and Frontier Agriculture Ltd.
At an earlier hearing at Haverfordwest magistrates court in May, prosecutor Ellie Morgan said Bufton was alleged to have sold “at a loss” agricultural supplies he obtained from the businesses, then failed to pay his bills.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case and Bufton was released on unconditional bailed to appear before Swansea Crown Court today.
