An illuminated winter wonderland twinkles into life tomorrow (Thursday) when a bungalow's charity Christmas lighting display has its official switch-on. This is the 10th festive season that Vic and Sheila Norman have been putting up the lights fantastic at their home, and the display has grown year on year. It now features around 55 figures - with the new additions of a moose and a St Bernard dog joining the sparkling wildlife on the front lawn - as well as a Nativity scene, an illuminated conservatory and a photo-booth. Last year, the Normans' display at Kingsmoor Close, Kilgetty SA68 0QZ raised £1,250 for the Paul Sartori Foundation, and the couple are hoping that this year's donations from the generous public will top this. The Pembrokeshire hospice at home's fundraising co-ordinator, Toni Dorkings, will be carrying out the switch-on at 6pm tomorrow. Said Sheila: "We started putting the lights up at the beginning of October, but it's been worth it - we're delighted with how it's looking and we've already had a lot of compliments even before it's switched on!" But whatever new features are added, the couple will always give pride of place to their Nativity scene. Added Sheila: "It's lovely that the children always run to that first to make sure we've got everything there." ?
