Are you tired of being plain 'Mr' or 'Mrs'? Then the chance to grab a title and become a Lord or Lady is on offer tomorrow (Tuesday) as a Pembrokeshire manorial title comes up for auction.

The ancient Welsh feudal title of Lordship of the Manor of Wedlock is going under the hammer in Cardiff.

Wedlock - also known as Wydeloc - was in the parish of Gumfreston, near Tenby.

While the lot does not come with any land or an actual manor house, the title can be passed along to heirs and successors, or resold at any point.

It also entitles the new ownere to style themselves The Lord (or Lady) of Wedlock, and the title can be used on passports, driving licences and other official documents.

The title is one of 39 lots being auctioned at 5pm tomorrow at the Park Inn Hotel in Cardiff. It is being put up by Cardiff-based property professionals, Seel & Co.

The company's auctioneer and head of property auctions, Marc Morrish, said: "These manorial titles come available from time to time.

"People buy them for all sorts of reasons, but the Lord/Lady of Wedlock would clearly make an interesting Christmas present or a very different wedding gift."
