A Pembroke man is facing charges of making thousands of indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of a child.
Leigh Oldfield, 45, of Lower Lamphey Road, Pembroke appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday.
It is alleged that he made three category A movies of a child between October 25, and November 11, 2015, plus 19 category B movies of a child between May 18 and November 12, 2015.
Oldfield is also charged with making 1,374 category C images and 162 category C movies of a child between October 13, 2010, and November 12, 2015.
No pleas were entered to any of the three charges during Tuesday’s hearing.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction to hear the case, and Oldfield will next appear at Swansea Crown Court on February 3.
He was released on bail in the meantime.
