THE Paul Sartori Foundation is appealing to individuals who would like to make a special new year’s resolution in 2017 by volunteering to help support the charity.

The Paul Sartori Foundation has been providing end of life care in Pembrokeshire for 35 years.

“We are particularly appealing to those individuals locally, who are out of work, retired, or work part-time and are able to spare a few hours a week,” said Judith Williams, volunteer administrator for the Paul Sartori Foundation, adding: “Our services are already supported by a strong volunteer base, but our Sartori Stores need more help, particularly in our Tenby, Pembroke, Pembroke Dock, Neyland and Haverfordwest stores. If you can help then please get in touch with me on 01437 763223”.

The Family of Sartori Stores help generate significant funds and sustain the services provided by the charity. Eleven stores can be found across Pembrokeshire with several specialising in items of interest. The majority of stores sell quality furniture items with Sartori Style in Haverfordwest stocking designer clothes and bridal ware, whilst Nostalgia in Fishguard and Tenby specialise in vintage, retro, furniture and clothes. The Sartori Home Furnishings & Warehouse store is the main distribution centre and is vital in collecting and distributing donations, sharing the stock amongst all of its stores throughout the county.

Tim Davies, head of retail said: “The role carried out by volunteers is vital to the operation of the Sartori Stores. The role will include sorting donations, dealing with customers, answering the telephone, operating the tills and generally assisting the store managers with the running of the shop. We would be delighted to hear from anybody that can help us.”
