Some snow has started to fall on higher ground of Pembrokeshire this afternoon (Thursday).

Pembrokeshire is currently under a yellow Met Office warning for snow for Thursday and Friday, although most areas of the county have experienced rain rather than snow so far.

The Preseli Mountains has had most of the snow so far but there is the potential for some snowfall to lower levels later as cooler air continues to push south into the afternoon and evening.

Details of any school closures which may have to take place tomorrow (Friday) due to snow will be provided on the Pembrokeshire County Council’s website.

Parents/guardians can view www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/alerts for school closure information.

Details will also be posted on the County Council’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

Anyone who has signed up for ‘My Account’ – Pembrokeshire County Council’s online service user account – will also receive email notification.
