A MAN has been remanded in custody in connection with a sexual assault in Tenby.
Andrew Edwin Check, aged 29, appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates court on Monday morning.
No pleas have been entered and Check, from Tenby, was remanded into custody ahead of a hearing at Swansea Crown Court on February 17.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police, had said: “Following a thorough investigation into a sexual assault at a residential property in Tenby on Monday, January 9th 2017, police have arrested and subsequently charged a 29 year old man.
"The female victim is continuing to be supported by specialist officers.
"We would reassure the public that this was an isolated incident, and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.”
