AN EIGHT-year-old boy, who was seriously injured after being hit by a van, is now recovering at home with his family, police have said.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said the boy, who was hospitalised following the incident on Sydney Rees Way in Haverfordwest on March 19, has been released and is now at home, where his condition continues to improve.
A woman and another child were also hurt when a white Ford Transit van came off the road, and crashed onto a pedestrian walkway.
The boy, 8, was treated at the side of the road, before being taken to Withybush, and later the Heath Hospital in Cardiff.
The van's driver was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The cause of the incident is still being investigated.
