A GROUP OF Milford Haven area youngsters recently enjoyed a trip to Folly Farm thanks to Milford Haven Rotary Club.

Kids Out is an annual national event arranged by Rotary International to take children on a special outing that they would otherwise not experience.

Over 22,000 children enjoy the day, and Milford Haven Rotary Club took 73 children and their carers for a day at Folly Farm last Wednesday, June 6.

Edwards Bros coaches collected the youngsters from their schools and took everyone to Folly Farm where a group of Rotarians, along with Milford Haven Mayor Cllr Rose Gray, was waiting with entry tickets and bags of tokens which were given to the children for use on the various rides.

Wearing their Kids Out caps the excited children enjoyed a magical day before being returned to their schools, tired but happy.

Organised by Rotary International, the event was sponsored by South Hook LNG; Milford Haven Port Authority; Milford Haven Town Council; Rhyal Engineering and Gelliswick Bay Trust.

Princes Gate provided everyone with bottles of water, which were gratefully received.
