EMERGENCY services are dealing with a two-vehicle crash on the A477 by the Cosheston turn-off on the entrance to Pembroke Dock.

Huge queues of traffic are being reported following the accident.

Services, including firefighters from Pembroke Dock and the ambulance service, are currently involved.

Two crews from Pembroke Dock Fire Station were called out just before 4pm today, August 17 to the crash, involving a car and a Transit-type van.

Three ambulances are currently in attendance.

Posting on Facebook, one witness said: “Bad accident on the way into Pembroke Dock on the A477 just after the Nash Farm shop. Avoid area if you can. Saw numerous emergency service vehicles heading to the scene.”

Another witness, posting on Facebook page Dog Friendly Pembrokeshire, reported a loose dog from the car involved in the crash.

“Two dogs in car, one recaptured, but one running scared and needs to be found. Large black Rottweiler type breed, answers to the name Darcy. Collar with name tag. Please share all around that area.”

It is believed the owner/s of the dog may be a visitor/s to the area.

Another witness said the scene was “Absolute bloody chaos.”
