THE family of a seven-year-old girl, diagnosed with leukaemia last year, have thanked the doctors and nurses who have cared for her.

Tasha Morris from Milford Haven raised £1,700 for the Cilgerran Ward at Glangwili Hospital by completing the Man Up UK mud run with friends and family.

Her daughter Milah diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in June 2016 and has been receiving treatment on the ward.

Milah rang the end of treatment bell in July this year but continues to visit the ward for regular check-ups.

Tasha wanted to do something positive and show appreciation for the care Milah has received.

Angharad Davies, senior sister on Cilgerran Ward said: "Thank you so much to Tasha, her family and friends for completing the Man Up UK Mud Run and raising £1,700 for Cilgerran ward.

"This generous donation will be used to enhance the care provided on the ward and will ensure that patients like Milah, and their families can access a wide range of specialist services and equipment beyond what the NHS can currently provide.

"Thank you so much for your support."
