Champions Merlins Bridge had too much firepower for struggling Solva to cope with.

This result pushed the Wizards up to second in the table, 11 points behind clear leaders Hakin United.

Stephen McNabney grabbed five goals, the striker scoring in the ninth and 44th minutes to give the Wizards a two-nil half time lead.

After the break the Wizards dominated possession and territory as McNabney added three further goals, and Brett Shakir and a Gethin Roberts penalty completed the rout for Bernie Armstrong’s team.

Solva goalkeeper Chris Davies did pull off one superb save to deny Ben Skudder.
