Narberth (102 for 2) beat St Ishmaels (99 all out)
NARBERTH were worthy winners against St Ishmaels as they shot out Tish for a paltry 99 runs and then eased home for the loss of only two wickets in only 33.2 overs.
Tish struggled against excellent bowling by Wayne Howells (3 for 19), Ian Hughes (3 for 12), Ben Quartermaine (3 for 24) and 1 for 13 from promising young pace man Sean Coaker as Tish skipper Andrew Palmer tried to hold his team together with 44 (two fours and three sixes), but only Peter Bradshaw (12), Dan Howells (11) and Dan Richards (11) managed double figures.
Narberth lost Marc Hughes and Jordan Howell early on to Dean John (1 for 13) and Andrew Pawlett (1 for 26) but Ritchie Adams continued his fine form this campaign with a typically hard-hitting 61 not out that contained 11 boundaries. Mike Scale gave great support with 17 not out and Narberth were worthy winners in 33.2 overs to draw level with Tish in fifth place in the table.
