TENBY came from behind to deservedly claim victory at Ragged School and secured their route into the second round of the West Wales Intermediate Cup.
The Swansea Senior League outfit are a formidable force on their home ground, but the Seasiders despite going a goal behind proved more than a match for them.
Tenby came into this cup-tie without a recognised goalkeeper, and striker Jordan Richards drew the short straw and donned the gloves between the sticks.
Tenby's elusive striker Sam Christopher equalised to make it 1-1 at half time.
Then ten minutes from full time saw Darryl Mansbridge struck Tenbys winner and ensured his side go into the hat for round two.
Tenby manager Mike Lewis said: "I'm pleased with the result, but if I'm honest we should have won by more."
This Saturday, Tenby entertain division one rivals West Dragons in the first round of the Senior Cup. They played each other at the Clicketts in a league encounter only a couple of weeks ago and it finished 2-2, but Saturday's cup clash will be played to a conclusion.
Tenby: Jordan Richards, Curtis Hurlow, Ashley Andrews, Phil Catlin, Alex Harley, Daryl Mansbridge, Richard Perry, Billy Vaughan, Callum Proctor, Jerome Mansbridge, Sam Christopher. Subs: Toby Rossiter, Scott Ferney.
