West Dragons 1
TENBY were too hot in every department for last seasons Senior Cup beaten finalists West Dragons to cope with.
Only a few weeks ago these same teams met at the same venue in a league encounter that finished 2-2. So Dragons player manager Nigel Delaney was understandably positive before kick-off that his side could come away with a positive outcome.
It all started brightly for the visitors who took an early lead as Bradley Barrett pounced from inside the box. Five minutes before half time and Sam Christopher equalised to ease Mike Lewis Tenby outfits nerves.
In the second half the hosts dominated territory and possession and were rewarded with five unanswered goals in the second half.
Billy Vaughan gave his side the lead five minutes after the interval. Jerome Mansbride added the third with a tap-in. Vaughan got his second goal of the match with a header for the fourth. Christopher also bagged his second goal of the cup-tie for the fifth and substitute Jordan Richards lashed home goal number six to complete the rout.
