Johnston 4

WEST Wales Intermediate Cup holders Johnston cruised into the last 16 of the competition with an excellent victory at Swansea league division one outfit.

The visitors took the cup-tie by the scruff as they led by a three-nil goal margin at half time.

Adam Hawkins opened the scoring for The Tigers in the 20th minute. Ten minutes later and Steve Mills scored with a trademark direct free-kick from the edge of the box that flew in the top corner. Five minutes before the break and striker Nicky Woodrow’s shot took a deflection before flying into the back of the net.

Three minutes before the end and substitute John John added the Tigers’ fourth goal to seal an excellent win in Swansea.
