Narberth 0
West Dragons 1
(Game abandoned after 54 minutes)
THIS game was abandoned after 54 minutes when West Dragons goalkeeper Andy Mathias was involved in heavy collision inside his box and was taken to Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen with a suspected broken jaw.
The Dragons were leading one-nothing at half-time against the current league leaders, thanks to striker Bradley Barrett scoring early in the first half for the visitors.
Gale force winds and heavy rain made the going heavy at Jesse Road. Referee Kevin Bowen abandoned the game after the keeper was hurt and Telegraph Sport wishes Andy a speedy recovery.
Injury update: At time of going to press Andrew had an operation in Morriston on Sunday to re-align his top jaw/dental plate. Andrew’s family and Dragons manager Byron Phillips would like to thank Narberth AFC for their support and special mention to Steve Allen for his reassurance at the scene of this unfortunate incident.
