UK Football Trials (www.ukfootballtrials.com) is coming to Swansea on Sunday, February 16, at the Llandarcy Sports Academy to give undiscovered Welsh football talent a chance at pro and semi pro club trials.

An the company are offering Telegraph Sport readers the chance to win a place and showcase their talents.

They have a unique concept in that instead of just running trial matches, they use  professional coaches (all with Pro club experience and excellent club contacts) to run 90 minutes pro club style training sessions, before finishing with an hour’s match in front of Scouts. The coaching session gives coaches a better chance to look at the players and make an informed judgement on their ability than a simple trial match and the Pro Club scouts in attendance are free to approach any player who catches their eye.

The system has been extremely successful and last year managed to place over 50 players into pro and semi club trials across the UK. The last trial held in Swansea saw three players given trials at a Welsh Premier League team and six more have their details passed onto scouts who wanted to follow players’ progress. Their entire ethos is based around honesty, integrity and making players better and although obviously not all players will be successful, every player receives nutritional info, fitness programmes and a comprehensive training document after the trials which is full of drills and advice from a UEFA Pro Coach.

One of the Coaches, Darran Jones From Swansea who holds a UEFA A Licence said:
“This really is the best opportunity in Wales for talented players to be scouted and go forward to pro or semi pro clubs in Wales and the rest of the UK.  Last trial we had some fantastic results and are hoping that as word spreads we will find even more undiscovered talent this time.
