SAUNDERSFOOT Sports came from behind to pick-up a thoroughly deserved draw at Neyland.
This was a game that the Nomads had targeted to win, but the visitors proved more than a match for them at the Athletic Ground.
Henry Durrant gave the hosts an early tenth minute lead, the midfielder hitting a low shot from the edge of the 18-yard area that flew in via a post.
Nomads’ keeper Patrick Hannon was the busier of the two keepers, pulling of fine stops to deny Geoff Marsh, Sam Coleman and Jack Franklin.
But the Sports finally breached the back of the net in the 80th minute, substitute Chris Millward’s decisive direct free-kick finally beat Hannon and earned his side a precious point on the road.
