PEMBROKESHIRE triathlete Oliver Simon was the first competitor home in the swimming leg of the Long Course Weekend in Tenby last night.
On a glorious evening in Tenby, Simon came home in exactly 44 minutes, 47 seconds quicker than Pencoed Triathlon Club's David Murray.
Anthony Flagg was third in 45:26.
Overall, 324 swimmers completed the swim insdie the two hour cut off point.
This morning, the 112 mile cycling leg will get underway from Tudor Square, Tenby, at 8am.
And it promises to be a gruelling test, with persistent rain forecast throughout the day.
