West Dragons 1

Merlins Bridge 4

NATHAN Greene grabbed a brace to help Merlins Bridge to a thoroughly deserved derby win at West Dragons.

The Dragons have had a poor start to the season and are yet to pick up a point from four outings. The Wizards have a record of two wins and two losses, which is not the ideal start, that Wizards player boss Lee Hudgell was hoping for.

Chris Ormond broke the deadlock with a textbook header in the 37th minute. Five minutes after the break and Greene slotted home his side’s second.

The Dragons pulled a goal back following a terrific strike by Ashton Plunkett.

Greene was on target again in the 78th minute before substitute Daniel Bryce rounded off the scoring with near post header in the 85th minute.
