Merlins Bridge 5

Narberth 0

A FIVE-star second half display secured Merlins Bridge a comfortable victory over Narberth at the Racecourse.

The Wizards were frustrated by not scoring in the opening 45, but rectified their goal-scoring problem by netting five unanswered second half goals.

Skipper Stephen McNabney latched onto a ball over the top to slot past John Durbridge for the opener in the 52nd minute.

McNabney assisted with the corner that Chris Ormond headed home from six yards.

Steven Dockerty lashed home from 18 yards for a cracking third goal. The Bluebirds were firmly on the back foot and conceded two further goals.

Lively McNabney rounded keeper Durbridge for the fourth and a sweet edge of the area left footed strike by player boss Lee Hudgell completed the rout.
