Angle 1

Pennar Robins 3

PENNAR Robins after being docked three points by the league in midweek came up with a derby victory at Angle.

The Robins lost the points after playing an ineligible player when they won at West Dragons at the start of the season.

But Gareth Southcott’s Robins quickly put the disappointment behind them as Luke Phillips scored twice in the opening 30 minutes. Ben Steele’s corner was met by a sweet left-foot strike by Phillips, and then Phillips headed in Adam John’s cross, just before the break and Ben Adams pulled a goal back for the hosts.

With three minutes remaining Adam Cole’s cross was bundled into the net by veteran Dean Driscoll to secure his side’s seventh win of the season.
