WINNER of the ladies nine-hole competition held Friday at Rosemarket Golf Club was Rose Taylor beating Jill Ensom and Marilyn Rawlinson on count back.
Fourth was Rita Evans and fifth Jean Bradford beating Sarah Browning on count back. There was excellent turn out last Tuesday, where 23 seniors played a 14-hole stableford.
Winning with 28pts was Jim McKintyre beating John McLean on count back. Third was John C Davies, fourth Vivian Thomas, and fifth Archie Greaves with 24pts beating Dave Warneford and Colin Rogers on count back.
Members played a Winter Voucher Pairs Texas Scramble on Saturday, winning with a nett 65 were Kevin Holmes and Adam Reynolds. Runners-up were John Mclean and Roger Scrimshaw with a nett 65.7, third Clive Richards and Alex Young nett 67, fourth Alex James and Mark McCormack nett 67.5, fifth Gary Lloyd and Martin Reynolds nett 68.7. There were ten twos. On Sunday, the competition was three-ball BTSTC, winning with 75pts were Des Potter Adam Reynolds and Adam Rogers. Runners-up were Harley Holmes, Kevin Holmes and Colin Rogers 59pts. Third Paul Bowen, Alan Bowsher Alex Young 56pts and fourth Colin Sharpe, Tom Strand and Luke Young 54pts. Twos winner was Adam Rogers on hole 13. Adam also had the best individual stableford score of 37pts.
