THERE was an excellent turn out for the 14-hole stableford roll up held at Rosemarket Golf Club last Thursday, with 26 players taking part.

Winning with five birdies including a two was Rob Evans who scored a storming 35pts. That's an average of 2.5pts per hole, tremendous golf from one of the club's lower handicap members.

Runner-up with 30pts was ex seniors captain Mike Butler, third Barrie Yelland 27pts beating John McLean on count back, fifth was Ron Nash with 26pts.

Rose Taylor is the lady in form winning the roll up again this week beating Pat Gerson on count back. Third was Debbie Thomas, fourth Jill Ensom and fifth Sarah Browning beating Rita Evans on count back. Members played the March monthly Stableford on Saturday, winning with 33pts and beating Alex Young on count back was Chris Llewellyn. Third was Paul McCarthy beating Luke Young on count back with 31pts, fifth Bryn Lewis 30pts. Only two winner was Chris Llewellyn on hole 7. Ladies monthly winner was Alison McCormack with 25pts. Winter finale winner on Sunday was Kevin Holmes with 36pts, runner-up Clive Richards beating Gary Lloyd on count back, fourth was John Lewis with 34pts, fifth Adam Rogers 33pts. Twos winners were hole 13 Scotty Martin and Clive Richards hole 16 Peter Morgan. Junior Pinseekers winners red tee Michael Strand 32pts. White tees Luke Young beating Tom Strand on count back with 35pts, third Harley Holmes 32pts. The club is holding an Easter Bingo this Friday. Eyes down at 7.30pm. Plenty of great prizes including meat vouchers, Easter eggs and many more. Everyone welcome including non members.
