ROSEMARKET Golf Club Seniors section played the Reg Taylor Memorial Trophy last Tuesday. Reg was a popular member of the seniors’ section. The format was a medal stroke play competition and the winner with a gross score of 92 (lowest gross score of the day) and a nett 73 was Kenny Davies. Congratulations to Kenny on winning his first seniors’ trophy since joining the club. Runner-up was Ron Nash nett 74; third Gordon Manwaring beating Archie Greaves on count back with a nett 75, fifth new seniors’ captain Colin Rogers nett 77. Ladies 14 hole stableford winner was Alison McCormack with 26pts, runner-up Jill Ensom 21pts, third Marilyn Rawlings 21pts, fourth Jayne Morgan 19pts, fifth Pat Gerson 17pts.Individual Medal raffle winner on Sunday was Daniel Wood nett 70, runner-up Adam Reynolds nett 75, third Alan Bowsher beating Geraint Hughes on count back with nett 77, fifth Dave Pink beating Gary Lloyd and Scotty Martin on count back with nett 78. The junior Birch Utilities cup winner on Sunday was Tom Strand with 24pts, runner up Harley Holmes 23pts, third Amber Deakin 20pts, fourth Michael Strand 15pts, fifth Alex Young 14pts.
