A HOST of Welsh rugby legends will be in Broad Haven this month on what promises to be a great night for charity.
A special fundraising evening is being held for the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru, and it will take place at the Ocean Cafe, Bar, and restaurant on Friday, September 25.
The proprietor – Mostyn Davies is holding this event to mark the contribution made by the late Ray Williams as the Secretary of the WRU at the first World Cup in 1987 and also as Tournament Director of the World Cup in 1991. In view of Ray’s contribution Mostyn has decided that the proceeds will go to the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru.
Former international players and coaches attending include Gareth Jenkins, Jeremy Pugh, Graham Price, Ray ‘Chico’ Hopkins, and ‘Charlie’ Faulkner, and there will be other special guests.
And on the eve of the England v Wales Rugby World Cup game, there will be tales told of past classics between the two, while a signed 2015 Welsh RWC shirt will be amongst the items up for auction.
The audience will also have the chance to put their questions to the legends.
Tickets are available from Mostyn on 01437 781882 and cost £15 (including refreshments) - and the evening will start at 7.30pm.
