The day luckily remained dry although there was a brisk wind at times, the scores were all very close and the winner was Pearl Slate followed by runner up Cheryl Eva, both winning a local jewellery store voucher. In third position was Karen Pullen who won a bottle of Bucks Fizz. The ladies enjoyed a lovely two course meal in the restaurant where Karen also held her prize presentation. Karen also took this opportunity to present Veronica John with her Hole in One certificate, Veronica putted for one during a match against Cheryl Eva on Thursday July 2 on the sixth hole and was delighted with her certificate and can now claim her special Hugo Boss watch.

Congratulations to Cheryl Eva and Lucy French who won the final of the Centenary Greensomes competition against Pauline Summons and Eileen Davies. It was a very close match with Cheryl and Lucy winning on the 18th hole.
