Juniors

CEF Salver

THE 18 hole medal was won by Abe Forsyth with an excellent gross 75 nett 69 held on Saturday, reducing Abe's handicap back to 5. Abe will receive the trophy at the Junior Presentation on November 1.

The mini golf course and six-hole competitions were sponsored by Mark 'Sparky' Summons. The mini course event was supervised by Club Pro Mathew Hearne, assisted by Junior Captain Josh Lewis and Vice Captain Thomas Wood, and their influence meant the standard of play was superb on the day. The winning score of 27 was achieved by Megan Phillips - a deserved reward for a lot of practise and effort put in by Megan over the last few months.

On the big course, the six-hole competition was a delight to watch, with a number of the Gents in the Men’s competition seeking the Junior Organiser out to praise the children and the standard of the golf - well done to all of you! The Trophy will be shared by Sammy Vaughan-Harries and Lucas Aldred who both scored 43 over the six holes.
