GOOD day! Hope you’ve all had a good week! It’s been quite a quiet affair for me to be honest.

Unlike most of you I’d imagine I watched the game at home. My good mate Clarkey and my mum and dad were there for company. Why at home you ask? Well, I’m one of those people who likes to watch in peace.

Watching in a pub or club can be distracting if I’m honest with people constantly asking questions or talking throughout the game. I like to watch it in the house so I can concentrate!

It was a great game and an even better result. It was pleasing to see the Scarlets boys doing well with ‘Cawdor’ getting that winning try! It was disappointing to see Scotty taken off with an injury. I caught up with him on Monday morning before he headed off for his scan. By the time you guys read this we’ll probably have heard the results and hopefully it’s good news for my buddy.

We didn’t have a game on the weekend so we had a rare weekend off. The Scarlets annual golf day was held up in Machynys, Llanelli, on Wednesday. I can’t play golf to save my life though so I didn’t participate in that!

From a rugby perspective last week was working on fitness and weights with the conditioners to make sure we’re in the best shape for this weekend. I’m looking forward to a game and we’ll hopefully continue where we left off against Ulster a couple of weeks back.

I’ve been working on the house today (Monday) and am off to see my Uncle Richard and Aunty Sandra later for a cup of tea and catch up!

Have a good week and all the best to the Welsh boys against Fiji on Thursday!
